I used to admire this guy in the 90's, those days when he was at Nairobi Baptist.

What happened to him? Look at the characters around him, quite disturbing

I still respect him. I don't think he's corrupt or compromised. He has a right to voice his opinion. Don't forget that he has to mix religion and politics else he will not survive and we need people like him there.

BBI will solve it

It is not because he is in TNA, but more to do with him supporting a character who is facing charges of genocide. Whether inoocent or not, his past record demands that he takes caution with such characters.

He got into politics and realized things weren't the way he thought...that were his words about 2 years ago. He has a right to his opinion but we also have a right to question his character especially for someone like him with the title Rev. before his name and who at some point will be at the pulpit telling me not to be associated with wicked men!

Getting into the wrong path takes nothing almost half the times.
Just do nothing i.e doing the wrong thing thru omission.
Remaining on the good path requires will power and positive actions and with regard to the subject matter one has to go against the grain, and fight off opposition.
It's also very easy to be sucked into the wrong Camp, while the reverse is almost impossible without consequences.

The best camp he would have associated with is the PK-TuJu.

I disagree. PK and Tuju may not be all that good.

The best path for a man like him to take is one of honesty, integrity, truth and principle to not harm another human being. Those things that he likes preaching about.

I consider him the worst in the lot as he's very seriously compromised his moral principles.

'Every person has a price'. I wonder what mine is. If Mutava is a monkey showing his arse, then I guess I am still rubbing mine on Kibera dirt.

Otherwise, what moral courage have I shown not just with regard to the Hague suspects, but with respect to the village villain?

My morality is mainly limited to myself, a lie that has never caused me discomfort. My conscience is crystal clear!

My price is some physical comfort, a few coins to vaunt, and a little praise from 'people that matter'.

I am such a fake! Where is Mutava? I need to stone him!

Mutava is the Angel that 'was'.Politico shenanigans dictate that he sleeps with the Devil. At one point we believed that the entry of men n women of the collar (incl the glory is here)would bring some sanity n integrity in our politics but alas, they were assimilated in the mafia-like system. You can never serve two masters.

I suppose he was faced by the reality of not having THE JOB. He clearly said he decamped to this group due to TNA wave in his own constituency.

He is therefore not following any personal principles but efforts for self preservation as any other politician.

Good question. The bible tells us not to judge. Calling some people good because they are "christians" (read born again) and others bad because they havent confessed christianity is in itself judging. And we all know there is only one judge!
That's why i'm okay with any mortal who becomes the next president despite what society might label them!
