UK has never been in the EU.
Fot instance they don't use Euro currency and instead are stuck with their Pound-sterling.
Or what was the question?

Continuing the charade,.. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly but the highlighted statement is wrong. Uhu ..umm UK is in the EU, just didn't jump into the single currency wagon to protect its precious City of London industry (among other things), a smart move by Gordon Brown in hindsight ...otherwise they are very much in the EU, fearfully reminding everyone so by leading the bombing on Libya Sad Or was that Nato?

You guys cant't understand a straight forward question and have to go in circles, of course the guy is informing us that United Kisumu has bowed out of Lake Victoria.

Yes. UK and Ireland also opted out of the Schengen Agreement, but it was not part of EU law/policy till much later. Still the UK is part of EU despite opting out of the common monetary instrument and the border-less agreements. On the other hand Norway, Iceland and Switzerland are in the Schengen area but are not in the EU.
