"Will Kenya fall off the world if Raila became president? Why chose the fellowship of suspects and not him? What is the worst that he can do?"

"Raila is more MISUNDERSTOOD than APPRECIATED. Did he do detendtion for the Luos? No. Who is the nationalist? Him or the two suspects?

"To the house of GEMA, 'The gods make blind those they wish to destroy'. It is total blindness for Uhuru to succeed Kibaki. PERIOD.

well i don't intend to vote in the upcoming elections I will vote with my money depending on who wins but my thoughts about Raila is really about the economy. I find his politics abrasive and economic disruptive element

"Over the last three decades Kenya has experienced only two short episodes when economic growth exceeded five percent and was sustained for at least three consecutive years: 1986-88 and 2004-2007

From 1991 to 1993, Kenya had its worst economic performance since independence. Growth in GDP stagnated, and agricultural production shrank at an annual rate of 3.9%. Inflation reached a record 100% in August 1993, and the government's budget deficit was over 10% of GDP. As a result of these combined problems, bilateral and multilateral donors suspended program aid to Kenya in 1991." source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Kenya

In 1986-1988 Raila was in detention
2005-2007 he was out in the cold

I think OAR is still the best suited to implement new law. He adheres to implementation of vision 2030.

Some analysts have stated before that:
- he's popular among the youth,
- his party has national outlook,
- and not associated with corruption (ok, before you shout look at the other candidates first)

The lies that says "O economy will be affected" is crap. If anything, the next president has no choice but to be challenged to do more, given what Kibaki has achieved.

Those against OAR are the same people who criticized him when he started demolition to pave way for Bypasses, which Thika Superhighway is a benefactor!

1) Which gods does Mutahi keep referring to?

2) Does he really understand the psych around mt Kenya region? Many think 2007/2008 was the time they almost met their destruction.

I hope the two young politicians are just playing mind games, and that eventually they will back some one else

ROA is not the problem – it’s the people around him!
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

I have been hoping this too is the case. Can these guys not see they will drag Kenya with their mess. We need an credible UK/RAO alternative. Either option is not palatable. I can't myself ever voting for Pamba but I don't want the alternative to be UMK.
