Any insiders know if Barclays will will ever release an Android app for Kenya? They already have them for Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

Its long overdue. We are one of the most mobile-centric society, so I'd imagine this should be the first place in Africa to do this.

I gave up on Barclays a long time ago. They are too slow in adopting technology. Decisions must still be made up in the UK. As other banks are busy implementing technology solutions, Barclays is stuck in 1999.

Any bank with IOS/Android/Symbian/Windows app in Kenya? This is not a BBK problem.

Barclays has a USSD mobile banking service called "Hello Money". Try it *224#

Works OK for bill payments, Transfer to MPesa, Transfer to other bank accounts etc.

I find it easy to use and I actually never visit the banking hall or their ATM.

They also have "Retail Internet Banking" for retail clients and "Barclays Integrator" for corporate clients which can accomplish virtually all banking instructions.

I don't work with Barclays

They do have Hello Money but I've been trying to get it for almost a year now and nothing. At least the internet banking works.
