Saw this somewhere. Gaza Weather forecast.
Sunny with a chance of Bombing!!
Quote:
Israeli authorities said more than 250 rockets andmortars were fired by Hamas and other armed groups from Gaza as of Thursday afternoon, and that its Iron Dome interceptor missile system had shot down dozens of the projectiles.
Israeli security sources confirmed that a rocket fired at Tel Aviv landed in the sea.

This is going to be costly.

I think it started with the killing of a Hamas Leader Jabari.
Israel left Gaza, yep but they still control Gaza's airspace and waters.

wish we could hear from political experts here concerning the current war.

@essyk its part of that vicious violence cycle around Jerusalem that will never end. Its already costly, the iron dome project is doing too little to protect israel 8-10% success rate. Anyway the circus is almost starting hopefully it won't take the focus away from assad in syria or probably plunge the entire region into chaos.

I have always believed that the solution to this 'lunacy' is the 'return of the Man God' and the destruction of the international state system.

And now that I'm here, I must actualize 'my brief'.

At least 39 Palestinians and three Israelis have died since Israel killed Hamas's military chief on Wednesday.

..."since the start of its operation,Israel's army says militants have fired more than 580 rockets over the border,367 of which hit southern Israel and 222 of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system" that according to me is a 38.27% success rate not bad at all...after all those hits only 3 israeli,s died and 13 injured...am trying to imagine if this would happen in Kenya God forbid the numbers would be astronomical...i dont think i would even be here to right this.

Actually, Iron Dome only targets rockets that might be headed to populated areas.

Each Tamir interceptor missile costs roughly $60,000.
The shield's makers say it is cost-effective because the radar technology differentiates between missiles likely to hit built-up areas and those missing their target. Only those heading towards cities are targeted and shot down.
This still means that as of Saturday night Israel had spent roughly $29m on interceptor missiles in three days.

Because they are "human beings" n the western media idolizes them[Jews].
They continue occupying and expanding settlements, at a time they should be negotiating when to evacuate n leave Palestine.

I am not a hamas symperthiser but I find Israel's killing of palestinians and destruction of their property unacceptable.

The fact that only 3 Israelis have been killed in the war demonstrates that they can target the Hamas Leadership and protect their population against the rockets.

They should therefore not resort to indiscrinate destruction of lives to try and achieve a political victory against Hamas.

Whatever you say about Israeli’s I just love the high regard with which they hold their wananchis' lives and the lengths (actually there are none) they go to to protect their homeland! GoK can learn a lot!Even one Israeli life is precious, like that of Gilad Shalit. So you just don’t begin to imagine David’s wrath if 46 of their policemen were murdered…
Plus the Israeli's are light years ahead in technology/intelligence compared to the Arabs and will win many more wars, even with an Islamic nuke in Iran (btw this would cause Saudi Arabia to get a nuke as well):
- They jammed Arab radar juzi tuu, as they travelled 1,800km undetected by Arab radar for with their F-15Is to lipua a cache of rockets in Sudan. The accuracy was amazing, and a large number of rockets that would have been smuggled through tunnels in Gaza onto firing into Israel. And the North Sudanese didn’t fully know what hit them until they read it a U.K. papers..
- The Iron Dome is proving an effective land-based missile shield, killing the Hamas/ Hezbollah katyushas with far more accuracy than the Patriot anti-missile missile batteries that shot down Saddam's scuds 2 decades back. (I think on the maritime side they use the Aegis system, so u fire any sea-skimmimg missiles it gets destroyed pap!). Na hizi ni application ya zile lessons za Physics za vertical and horizontal components of a moving projectile that many of us skived in seco...
- Jabari was a very careful man, rarely speaking on phone, never using the same route continuously, and always in the shadows. But the Israelis still got him!

Calling over 75,000 reservists is preparing for a ground invasion...
Still, I just wish these Middle East brothers can make peace (fat chance!) - after all, they been fighting since 1948 when Guka was real (and not a njugu!).

Did you know that despite decades of war/tension between Arabs and Israelis, Jews and Arabs have been falling in love in Palestine for as long as both have been there? Yes, Jewish girls do date Arab men…complex, this human nature is.

Good analysis

The force flew down the Red Sea, avoiding Egyptian air defense, and used electronic countermeasures to prevent detection while over Sudanese territory.

Israel is RICH! (Gets a lot of help from US too)

1 Iron Dome installation = USD 210 million (60 interceptor missiles, battery and radar)

They currently have 5 Iron Domes installed.

This is the high cost of war!
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Awesome - if what @Intelligentsia & Faa are saying is anything to go by!

Hats off for the tiny Jewish state!!!

Now imagine, if the technological and arsenal advantage was not with Israel, but one of the Arab&co. countries!

What would happen!!
