Let me get this straight. You choice of Police Inspector General is a CID officer who was in charge in the Rift Valley during the clashes?

CID means Criminal Investigation Department.

How many people have been investigated,prosecuted, sentenced and are serving jail terms for criminal activities during the clashes as a result of his efforts being the senior honcho at the time?

I lack further words. I really do.

The 4000 cases have probably been investigated the Kenyan way. No one will be convicted on the basis of this investigation I assure you!

I thought prosecution is one of the functions of the police.Were they done away with and public prosecutors hired??
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today!
