does anyone know the difference between audit and compliance check. i have been given compliance for a certain period but am not sure that if is should now be relieved or expect them to come knocking on my door in a few months again. these people are just bullies!

Compliance ensures all taxes to be paid are being paid.. eg do qualify for VAT? Are you registered?

Audit ensures all the taxes you have to pay are accurately calculated! eg is the figure calculated for VAT accurate??
