Forget political analysis, opinion polls and voting blocs. The omens favour him.

1.The Oldest Candidate Factor. In the history of Kenyan Presidential elections, the oldest man always won. In 92 n 97 it was Moi, in 02 n 07 it was Kibaki. In 2013 Raila will be the oldest man on the presidential ballot paper.

2. The 3rd Time Lucky Factor. Kibaki was no. 3 in 92, no. 2 in 97 and 1st in 02. Raila was no. 3 in 97, no. 2 in 07 and should be no. 1 in 2013 if he follows that 3-2-1 trend. I could be wrong, but maybe farasi ni mmoja.

@Lolest; what an observation? Kenyan history of sequential enthronement of the king could be in the offing.A natural precedence seems to have been set. Pit UK vs RAO and the latter will be running his own race and smiling to the finish line.

JJ Kamotho has always backed the winning horse. Moi(92, 97), Kibaki(02, 07). Orange in 05 and Green in 2010. He has announced he is now in TNA. These omens are not working, am confused.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
