Surprised the equality crowd in wazua is silent on this massacre. The value of life is clearly not the same for all citizens. Imagine if 52 had been massacred in Nairobi. It would be all over news for a week!

How many died in Syria in the past week?

Ah! But that's Syria. Tana River? Where's that?

How can I start worrying about others when I don't even know who I am?

Others are fighting in Mandera...The Tana River issue is about cattle feeding on the Pokomo lands...millet or sorghum

The underlying issue is that the government is failing in its principle role of providing security to its citizens. It is only the government that should exercise the monopoly of violence

This Orma, Pokomo, 'Gurale' are outdated ideas.

Affirm them, and you kill even more people.

I think it reflect how distorted we're as people! I am ashamed now I will have to explain to another foreigner who doesn't understand why people would turn against their neighbor when myself I don't understand it? Everyone pretend to be proud to be a Kenyan, I am ashamed!
