There must be some other news, I see an upswing of 9% , why ?

The upswing may be as a result of minimum divisible currency which in this case is 5 cents (Ksh 0.05).
A wing of 5 cents at a price of 1.05 where Mumias sugar is amounts to 4.8% fluctuation.

At such a level I advice traders to look at volumes rather than Price fluctuations Liar

Competition intesfies that could edge MSC out of market in less than a decade. Kshs 80B up for sugar plantation in Kilifi county something that does not augur well with Mumias sugar business model.

Agribusiness firm Tembo farming has sealed a deal that will see production of the sweetener increase. However,it is not clear whether the firm will be supplying millers with canes.

The Luhya community has a 76% staffing in this firm. Now I can tell why it is failing. Eating raw cane nd making Busaa from sucrose!!! Selling less and not paying farmers. I wonder which language is official in there.
How do you say in Luhya the "Boiler is not working?" Milling wheel has stalled?"

The staffing issue is rather obvious, the majority of staff in any organization are in the lower wage bracket, for the manual and labour intensive jobs. If Mumias was in Nyanza, I would expect the Luo Community to be the majority. The Kikuyu are also the majority in the tea ,coffee, pineapple factories in central.
Lets try and make sensible statements.

The demand today seems to be unusually high, is there any news?
