Is it good really? Hollande is a socialist ...proposing higher taxes, shorter working weeks and severely reduced immigration. Business will be hit hard, the markets will punish France.
Politicians like to talk a lot of nonsense about immigration ...it is a complex issue ....deporting/or locking out cheaper labour from Eastern Europe will lead to labour shortage. West europeans get choosy about the jobs they want to do ...rampant problem in britain already...75% he proposes as income tax for top earners ... guess what ...those guys will flee and take their capital with them. So Hollande will break promises or there will be riots.

I think Hollande is the best thing since de gaulle...austerity will only worsen things. the immigration issue is just to get the right wing onboard for the 2 nd round.
