I can count the number of people here at Uhuru Park.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

Kenyans are finally growing up.Even senior Mpigs namely MK and RAO gave it a wide berth.

I just can't believe that I woke up and went to the office TODAY!!
I had absolutely no idea it was labour day thanks to a blackout that lasted close to 20 hrs so I was off news.
I was met with flags draping the office building plus an empty car park!!! I thought the prezzo had been there !!d'oh! d'oh!
Out of shame,I lied to the night duty staff that I was there to pick some doc before I leave!!Sad Sad
Boring day!

Don't blame @essyk. I would have missed it too! I was having a discussion with someone on Friday and he told me we have to re-arrange some of our engagements because Tuesday was a public holiday and I was like "which holiday?".
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

You must be pulling our leg Shame on you Shame on you All the way to the office and you didn't notice something was amiss... the almost zero traffic being the first sign, no children going to school, etc.

Aish schools havent opened yet.At least not many.
I now realise I was the ONLY in the estate awake at that hour and in a hurry.Kweli I don't rem seeing anybody else except the watchie! But again at times the roads can be clear and it was very early!
There was no flag on sight and if there was I didn't notice as my mind was at work already!
The only thing I noticed a miss was an empty parking space at some equity bank (unusual) and I felt wow am damn lucky to be on the road this early.

It is well with my soul

The leadership is failing us.On such an important day and none was present while both the President and the PM of Russia were having a drink together.

Oh, if you are the very early bird like 5am, then I agree you can miss the clear cut signs something is amiss.

Pray Pray Pray On another note this are sighns of someody who is either very serious with his work or likely enjoying it rather than a lazy looser always looking reading the calender every morning to analyse the next weekend, holiday, leave days, pay day etc.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
