Wilson Kipsang and Mary Keitany win the London marathon at a blistering pace. In the womens race it was a clean sweep of all top five positions with Edna Kiplagat coming in second ,Prisca Jeptoo third, Florence Kiplagat fourth and Lucy Kabuu fifth. Total domination!!!!! Martin Lel finishes second, Abel Kirui 6th and Emmanuel Mutai 7th.
In her current form Keitany seems unbeatable. I predict an Olympic gold for this beautiful young girl at the London Olympics.
The mens selection is going to be tricky but I hope they include Abel Kirui in the team even though he came in 6th today. You need someone who can run in the summer and without pacesetters something he has proved he can do in the last two world championships. I would also include Geoffrey Mutai in that team.
Am so proud to be Kenyan.
