The other day Kibaki was telling a group of people-not sure who- that Kenya has the right environment for investment. One thing my International business teacher taught me is that for a counrty to be a suitable destinaion for foreign investors, the laws of the land must be clear on FDIs. Now,the saga between Chinedu and Akinyi brings to light the gap that is there in law in as far as settling FDIs dsputes and cases is concerned. My little knowledge on this saga tells me that Chinedu is the source of the intitial capital put in to start their business ( of course it is emerging from the wife that he was in Pakistan doing drug trafficking!!!) Our concern here is not where Chinedu got the money from. The issue is,he has a case, which our legal system is taking ages to resolve as usual. Is this really the kind of environment we are wooing foreign inverstors to come and operate in?

What do you expect when you register all your businesses on the name of a half-literate kenyan woman,I cant blame Akinyi....the law is very clear on ownership of property!!!

Make money.....then you will enjoy all the fine things in life!!!
