Short lived rally

21% gain in last four weeks. This is about the turnaround, not the buyout. I forecast KES 7 before Christmas

Ksh.7 is too ambitious,it will end in tears if you put high hopes.

Im thinking it is a price correction to reflect fair value, considering turn around strategy of new CEO. The firm has on average not traded more than 10,000 per day over the last three years, meaning original shareholders are still within
What benefit does Equity get in buying HF?

Attempts to remain bigger than KCB in terms of balance sheet

last week it traded the biggest volume in 5ys in a single day (more than 1% of its total shares) since then the breakout from 4 has been well sustained. with a book value of above ksh 20 even with a big discount a buyer will still create sizeable value to shareholders compared to the current price

Hehe. KQ is a gem and HF is a diamond in the rough. Always be keen realize value especially when it’s not apparent. One/many could have easily gained over 50% in just 12 months, instead of focusing on @Obiero

Penny stocks can move double digit %s very easily. From 2 to 3 bob is a 50% gain. See also KPLC's move from 1.3 to a high of 1.9. Doesn't mean the fundamentals are great. How about Nairobi Business Ventures moves. Dont read too much in the movement of a penny stock's price.

50% gain for larger caps is very rare. But 50% income gain is 50% income gain, whether earned via fish sales, penny stocks or real estate etc. I am a hybrid of trader and investor but leaning heavy on trader

An elder would tell you trading the NSE will get your head handed to you. Commissions of 2.2% going in and another 2.2% going out.
Don't trade this market. If you have to trade, take it to the fish market.

To trade target a minimum return of 25% so that when you remove commissions it comes to 20%

Lets put this in practice hypothetically. Pick one stock tomorrow, which you think will go up 25% in the next 7 months. Then lets circle back in Jun 2022. Please report tomorrow which that stock is so that we record tomorrows price.
Theory always much easier than action.
