after a long silence I have decided to talk.how wise is it for wazua to muzzle the freedom of expression of its members with dictatorial tendencies? not that i love politics too much.wazua admin ,my post of 'political fast' has been on sticky post long after I posted it.
we are in sensitive period in our country. wazua shapes the opinion of many kenyans to a great deal.if you block your members from giving their opinions on the kind of leaders offering themselves to be elected you are doing a great disservice to this country and it will take ages for you to recover from the consequences.

honestly you are leading the forum to a cliff.what else is there to discuss? nse has gone to the dogs.plots craze is over after syokimau?and besides with elections around the corner who wants to invest. companies are said to be building their reserves instead just in case of another pev(link businessdaily).

Make no mistake, your sentiments are welcome and concern noted. The suspension of the Politics section was not a casual move. It happened after we were long castigated for our inaction and the damage the Section was doing to our sense of community.

We realised that where thought leaders hurl profanity and insults at each other, simple-minded folk bear arms and torch property. Similarly where intellectuals engage in white-collar crimes or pornography, at another level some resort to robbery with violence or rape. - pardon the strong language - Do we readily own the unintended consequences of our actions?

Together, we'd first like to outline new rules of engagement for the Politics section that we can collectively own and enforce. For example:

Rule 01. NOT SAYING what one thinks is the truth, before considering your neighbour with strong opposing views.

The Wazua spirit

I am surprised that this is not yet 'Usered', Kenyans love being extreme (wazua admin included) reacting with extremes!! its as if people will not discuss the same else where! In talking people get to know each other and understand one another - this will actually help in sorting out sterotypes. Wazua admin should be a moderator not director! wazua admin is behaving like an ostrich having its head in the sand - that as long as people are not talking on Wazua, Kenya is safe!! Kenyans need to talk what is in their hearts, not talking is dangerous!

Hmmmn, I saw this happen in 2008 to Mashada during SK days. The whole site was suspended, and instead, a stroke of good fortune bore Ushahidi.

Me thinks @Wazua is overstretched or broke because of their frequent inaction. So I suggest they should appoint moderators from politicans amongst us.

Anyways, to be constructive I'll help with the rules:

Don't beat a dead horse (spamming)
