AK, Britank, Paka, Kengen closed the day at all time lows (at least the lowest price since 2000).

Ken Re, CFCI, Olympia, Sameer, Trany, Uchumi are floating just above the all time low.

The list is heavily populated by Insurance & Investment stocks while some others (AK, Ferrari) ...

What does this say about NSE? Who else will be joining these lists?

For long term investors this is the time to stockpick start averaging in when no one wants to buy equities.everyone and their grandmother are all in fixed income(treasuries, bonds).i thought NSE would catch the sneeze from all other major world indices(German DAX,US S&P and dowjones,japan,china..) that have all rallied bigtime.

@hisah, I have a feeling that KQ will swing into loss making in the next not so many quarters, irrespective of their strategy going forward. In the recent months, they seem to be making more money from hedging than from operations. in H1, they made 1b from ops and 1.45b from derivatives.

Their ops income gives an EPS of around 1.6 the extra 2.8 was from hedges etc

Its hard to watch even from the sidelines. OUCH. Britank also touching those lower lows. ever ready.... Waaaa! and access kenya... surely!

I've come to believe one thing on the NSE: At a particular time, a bad stock is a bad stock is a bad stock, And a good stock is a good stock is a good stock.

Yes, like EABL is a good stock is a good stock and Access is a bad stock is a bad stock. Period! Whatever you do, you will not gain with Access in your lifetime.

You never quit smile

If this were forex you'd have been on a margin call & your position closed with major losses. Time to quit...
