Who has an idea to the Q3 performance for HFCK?

BTW: This company price as at 26/10/2009 [yesterday] was Ksh. 14.35/=,up 5 cents from the previous days trading as correctly and officially put out on the NSE website
This is in response to the total misinformation in - http://www.stockskenya.c...?stk=1002&top=18458

The construction sector is truly on the upswing and one would be interested in seeing if HFCK will maintain momentum from its previous quarter results at a time when most sectors in the economy are performing poorly.

Why don't you just check Equity's results, there's a small fine print written share of associate's profits in their results.
Equity owns 25% of HFCK so multiply by 4 to know what to expect.

Right now it says 37 million by 4 = 148 million after tax and exceptional items.

So a profit growth of about 90% after tax over the period.

I thought Equity only owned 20% (and Britak 5%) which means... PBT is even better...

for the new Pension Backed Mortgage Product with HF you can now assign up to 60% of your accrued retirement benefits to acquire the home of your dreams...interestingly joint applicants can combine incomes as well as their accrued pensions as guarantees to cover the loan amount. I think this product, the first of its own locally will do well going forward - http://www.housing.co.ke...om&subcat=mortprods I'd like to see what the other competitors will offer to match this.
