Listening to this guy talk on TV last night left me wondering does he have a point in his argument. Should the fact that someone comes from a certain community be a reason not to run for the presidency. Did he essentially mean PK and Martha should also not run for presidency since Kibaki is the current president or did his reference for that community refer to UK.

You beat me to it. He meant that I, thimioni, should apologise for being born a Kenyan of Kikuyu ethnicity. Just the other day, Mzalendo did a scrutny of ethnic distribution of public servants. It emerged, despite the uneven spread, that communities were not TOO BADLY represented, and that kyuks arent too favoured either. Now this sick fool wants to misrepresent the facts all over again, and paint the kikuyu in very bad light. Its nincompoops like these who suddenly remind me of my ethnicity. Let him fight the president n the kyuk elites, and not drag a whole community into his immature mediocre league. I mustnt be discriminated in any way, based on whatever parameter, much so ethnicity. That is what HUMAN RIGHTS are. Huyu mutu aangaliwe akili na aachishwe kazi, too dangerous.

Sheri, I missed your point. This thread http://www.wazua.co.ke/f...spx?g=posts&t=14612 now also makes some sense. I had thought it was far fetched when it appeared here sometime back and before I am hanged, I must say I really didn't want to drag the PM here. It just natural that I do.

Omar Hassan is just another cheap activist. They are in droves lately and have become ever so bold with their mates in key government offices. They are characteristically loud mouthed, devoid of substance and grossly populist, all intended for the audience of their foreign tin gods.

If Hassan Omar is not prosecuted and sacked from the office for propagating hatred against Kikuyu in this country, then I guess there must be war in 2012.

I am a Kikuyu and have no apologies to make. Now to see a tribal chauvinist in Omar who is chauffeured in a GK vehicle in the name of being a reformer commissioner is just grave.

The same sentiments that lead to PEV in 2007 ,anti Kikuyu hatred have resurfaced again.

Kenyans, where are we heading to if we cannot tolerate one another.

Kikuyus' are part of Kenya and will remain so.

Ok,so maybe ECK should add the person's tribe on the ballot paper so that I will not make the mistake of voting in a kikuyu again. ABK!

I also thought the tirade stopped with the article, until the fool opened his mouth yesterday...Sample this: '.....who is the head of Kengen? Who is the head of KPLC? Who is the PS for...Who is the CDF?'
The same old lie repackaged by a COMMISSIONER OF HUMAN RIGHTS in this country, paid using my taxes.Tell me that is a guy a kikuyu would expect to fight for his/her fundamental rights n freedoms! Down with the activist.

I don't mean to bring the Honourable PM into this but why can't Omar just come clean and declare his support for him in public instead of using this kind of hypocritical approach. I read somewhere that in a separate article he declared that the PM is like his "dad and Saviour" then goes ahead to announce 2012 electoral ambitions. I don't have any issue with his support for RAO but why is he hiding under the KNHCR. How can you even say that MK's Legacy is about some expanded roads with flyovers and an economic growth index. Do KNHCR commissioners enjoy security of Tenure?

Yup, this Omar fellow seems to be fronting for someone using the human right groups as his pulpit. These are the same utterances that were used to cause so much hatred against one community before the last polls, surely he should know better than the rest. Just when you thought we are out of the woods, a stupid tribalist fans emotions to take us back the same dangerous road we came from. It's such a pity. Hope Mzalendo Kibunja deals with this fellow ili iwe funzo kwa wengine.
