DUBAI SCHEDULE - DEC 02/03

As Gold Coast winners, Fiji top pool A in Dubai and face matches against Samoa, Argentina and the hosts United Arab Emirates.

New Zealand, runners-up in Australia, head pool B and will play USA and Portugal before a mouth-watering clash with South Africa.

Pool C comprises two European heavyweights in France and defending Dubai champions England and two African nations, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
Wales head Pool D and will play Scotland in pool play for a second week in succession, as well as Australia and Canada.

Following their win on the Gold Coast, Fiji have a lead in the HSBC Sevens World Series. They currently lie on 22 points ahead of New Zealand (19), South Africa (17), Australia (15) and Wales (13).

I hope with this group kenya this coming weekend makes it to the main cup quarters, it's been long since we did so!!!!!

I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.Our fundamentals are too weak for us to put in consistent performances. The odd win definitely, nothing more. An overhaul of the whole system, coaches and particularly player development is long overdue.

Kenya beat Australia only to lose to France in Wellington, each team has now won 1 and lost one, we still top the group on pts difference but has to beat Canada to ensure progress to main cup, it's long since we played the main cup, wishing our boys all the best, game kicks off at 9:26am kenyan time!!!
