At Half year Equity PAT was 4,737 million whereas KCB's was 4,068 million. Safaricom half year earnings were 4,013 million. This is a moot question, Equity Bank and KCB are already making more profit than Safaricom as we debate.

No single company in th region wil replace safcom as th most profitable co in th forseeable future. If u luk at its financial stmts, its income streams r stil stable n its only th expences which hv rocketed, tis cn b easily sorted out, th top line is stil intact!!

Good assumption, but if the market is not able to pay 25%, NPLs will increase which will hammer banking P&Ls into shapes we last saw late 90's
