Just who is a hero?

The hero debate continues. Is Gaddafi a hero or not?

In Kenya who are our national heroes worthy of national recognition? Does the fact that someone isnt perfect mean that he loses hero status?

Can Moi qualify as a first liberation hero? I see him in pre-independence footage visiting Kenyatta and participating in the push for uhuru. He was also suspended from Legco due to this struggle. Does he also qualify due to his 24year rule and 'uniting' the country?

I don't want to discuss CK but heck, he could be a hero because he created jobs!

Does Michuki qualify? Or do we assume he was just doing his job?

My mother is my hero, kenneth stanely njindo matiba, uhuru muigai kenyatta, bishop arthur kitonga, mutula kilonzo, martha karua and martin shikuku. Pia james orengo. All others are hopefuls.

How can you leave out Wangari? Ama you're only referring to those who are alive?

What have Uhuru and Mutula done to deserve a place in this list?

Uhuru and mutula, they stood out when the nation was burning and they did what had to be done to save the country. Orengo of the mageuzi fame. Njindo and shikuku, we all know they won in 92
