I wanted to give them a chance to show their good side, but I have to call them out now. CFC Group of companies just sucks. Big time.

Two big points

- Poor service
- Poor products

But of all the things that ticks me off is their poor service. The poor service I have experienced with CFC Life. Customer care that communicates to you when they want, and at their own convenience (read as never). They take forever to resolve simple issues.

CFC Bank on the other hand, automatically switched some people to the most useless and expensive account where they charge 750 KES ledger fees, and still charge ATM fees and other fees kama kawaida! I abandoned them forthwith.

Someone please tell me, what is wrong with CFC? Or is it me who does not get them?

Sounds like a great investment, like SCB, I would never bank with them, but it gives a super return!!

The problem is the 'South Africans.' They don't understand East Africa's business dynamics, they always think they are right and never learn.

Some of these elements are surely universal though:

- Treat customers well
- Give good products i.e provide value?

I'm yet to get a glowing recommendation of CFC from anyone (or I haven't looked hard enough). When it was just Stanbic bank, people seemed to be happy.

Perhaps the South Africans messing it all up again?

The beauty (peculiar?) habit with Kenyans is blind loyalty, so don't expect them to smell the coffee and walk.
