SECURITY was yesterday deployed to the Migori home of former police commissioner Hussein Ali’s ICC witness Peter Otieno after roumers that villagers had threatened to torch his houses. Migori police Chief Fredrick Lai says there were reports that locals were unhappy with the decision by Otieno to defend Ali at the International Criminal Court. Otieno, an official of the Kenya Plantation and Agriculture Workers Union based in Naivasha was Ali’s first witness during the confirmation of charges hearings ending today at The Hague.
Talk of justice.
So how was the house touched by rumours?
Is rumours equal to fire?
