Seconded! This time round you make a mistake and you are done. I don't think there will be second chances this time round. Every team has an agenda. I'm sure in the boardroom of like four-five teams, the message is "We want EPL title THIS season".
Man U - No two ways about it, gotta win, gotta win; Chelsea - Abramovich has no patience. Some people are of the opinion that the only way Andre Villa Boaz will keep his job is by winning the CL. Huge target! If he ends the season without silverware, he is out of the door for sure unless someone talks to Abramovich; Man Shitty and Liverfools have spent good money. They want results NOW. Liverfools also have this dream of winning their 19th title before Man U wins the 20th. Good luck to them; Arsenal always sets out to win trophies - it's only that they don't. They will definitely buy some new players. If and when that happens, they will want results. I don't think they will be buying with an aim of retaining their usual fourth place; Redknapp is an ambitious man. I'm sure in his mind, the worst case scenario should be finishing in the top four and qualifying for CL - a tournament they really enjoyed this past season. Let the games begin!!!
Good news though, I have a feeling Man U will have a strong start this time round.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
