How Much do Architects Charge on average for a masionnete design/drawing

Hi,


I want to construct my house and would like to know on average how much Architects charge for a simple 4 bedroom maisonette to be built on a quarter acre of land.

@ Injere; is that drawing only? Or inclusive of supervision and inspection from start to finish? For drawing only, that's too high.

does it depend on some percentage of something eg the approximate value of house ?

Its actually a 6% of the value according to the act regulating these things. Most architects go githukio way... I did mine for 50K architect, 20k structural, approvals 20k... No BQ given.... it would have costed more
