Yes. Im back. To dispel this crap. Can someone clearly, concisely n succinctly explain to me which is this freedom that was precipitated by this "man", that im enjoying today, that would have otherwise been just a fat wish were it not for his "efforts".....Please! Somebody tell me, what freedom this dude singlehandedly n emphatically brought to my motherland! Please. I have a vague recollection of a hooligan back in the day, but I vividly recall other decorated soldiers such as Orengo, Rubia, Matiba, Jaramogi, Njoya.....(hahahaha kaleos were busy sycophanting the incumbency lol)....Just read the comments on the nation's editorial pertaining the 1982 coup n got pissed shitless. Ati we are enjoying the freedoms this guy brought about! f***! What the hell! All I know is a trail of death n destruction left behind by a certain demigod, not once, bt throught his political misadventure, including as recent as 3 calendars back. How gullible are we blacks! How fast we forget! Maybe nature got us f***ed up upstairs no wonder we trail the rest of the races.....

@kabz, tulia bana. Y the anger?I hold a grudge against Raila for last elections violence. The FACT is he drew masses to him on the platform of anti-kikuyuism and thus the violence which was going to happen whether Pnu or ODM won...im yet to get bitter with him for 82. Maybe its coz i was in Outer Mongolia

@ kabz

the feeling is mutual...the true freedom that i have been enjoying came in 1963...any other is a political goof.NKT!!!!

@mike, are you by any chance having problems reading/understanding my post?? U are obviously the tribalist so go jump into a lake or sth. When guys were fighting the Moi regime, the cunning master went to bed with him n bagged a ministerial position. He fought for our freedoms my smelly foot!!!!!

Yes, there are those second liberation veterans, n may the Lord bless them.......BUT, the truth is we are enjoying whatever freedom coz baks has allowed us to. We can vilify the ol' geezer all we want without fear of reprisal. He has literally given in to almost all our demands, we kind of rule/dictate over him. I dont see that happening under the MASTER OF DECEIT......

Hi Hello. I know this is just your second post - assuming you are not a wazuan incarnate - but I don't see anywhere @kabz mentions tribe or uses it as a basis for his argument. I think you are the one who is in a tribal cocoon because you managed to see tribe where there was none. If you want to enrich the discussion, engage @kabz fact for fact. Sio kupayuka tu ovyo ovyo.

Why do people see tribe in everything? You can't critic anyone without being accused of being tribal? Given that everyone has a tribe, I guess we should never criticize or point out the mistakes/errors of ANYONE lest you are accussed of tribalism. ABK!!! And even the educated Kenyans have fell for this bullshit!

All indications are that Nation Media house is on a mission; - "Operation Amolo in"!!!

Raila helped Moi in ensuring that his last five year term in power was not interrupted.

After the 1997 elections, Moi sensed danger
when Kibaki and Raila joined forces to demand for a re-run.
He quickly worked out a plan to splinter them - by baiting Raila.

Raila smelling the possibilty of succeeding Moi, went ahead to swallow it - bait line and sinker!

The rest is history - broken Moi-Raila MOU!!

@ livie, the 2007 tempers are slowly being cooked by the youth, though this time, politicians arent in the picture......case in point, anger over the appointment of Gen. Karangi as recommended by the Defence Council (which happened to be purely coincidental that he hails from nyeri). Visit the major media houses' FB pages n samle the comments....Same thing on comments on the nation website. I bet you will recoil in anger n astonishment!! Anti kikuyuism is being peddled on the web pages like cheap candies by YOUNG men n women. Yes, if NCIC cannot reign in on online hate-speakers, then its of no use. I thank God the politicians have hitherto behaved n avoided tribal sentiments n strongly hope they remain that way. They seem to have learnt sth from the 2007/08 bloodletting.

On RAO, my conscience is as clear as daylight on a summer. PEACE.

If it took walking stark naked across the city to become presy, RAO would do it.

He will do anything!!

Thats why he has tried all manner of tricks over the years!

god bless the man!
