BROKEN LAPTOP SCREEN

@Wazuans is it advisable to replace a broken laptop screen or just buy another one?The laptop fel from 1.5 mtrs height and now only displays on the top left corner.The screen appears broken on the inside but not on the outside.Am I likely to get any meaningful servce from it on replacing the screen or wil just be waste of money?Hey anyone with th knowhow pleas share with me

You can replace the screen as good as new. Ask around at the computer shops. I replaced mine once.

Replace and immediately sell. Give someone else the headaches that emanate from a dropped laptop.

Seconded. The screen can definitely be replaced..
It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.

@Hundwear, true the screen can b replaced but, afterwards don't be surprised if u come to realize it/has developed other problems!!! A 1.5mtrs drop isn't a small fall by any standards for such delicate machines. As someone pointed out repair & sell... sukumia mwingine iyo shinda!!!

It all depends on the value of the laptop (cost of replacement). A new screen will cost you between (15 -20k)Plus some waiting time. 1.5 M isnot a very high fall and should not have extensive damage. Otherwise uza kama parts. For screen is still stuck talk to gikungu at gmail dot com

I replaced mine on sunday and is working fine. the cost was 10500 at Platinum computers, world business center.
