It was in today's nation that they are going to go public on 27th June 2011.

I have observed all the previous foreign IPO's have created wealth for those who invested eg Stanbic Uganda,Bralirwa.

So will this IPO will also be a hit?

i will be very bullish on this one. Over 80% of rwandans un banked and only few banks operating there. The banking sector in Rwanda has just entered the growth stage and expected huge earnings by banks

Statistics from the central bank indicate that total loans issued by banks from January to March this year increased to Rwf404.33 billion from Rwf367.04 billion, which is a sign of a steady recovery in the country’s credit market.

According to the central bank, consolidated net profit for the banks for the period rose to Rwf4.59 billion from a net loss of Rwf283.02 million in the same period last year, representing a 1724 percent increase.

D&B is among the team handling this IPO. so definitely you will buy the IPO thro them.

Good question @dave.kim if your stock rises to the roof top will your brokers get offers ?
Most of those markets are very shallow they are markets for the future generation.
The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .
