May be well-meaning but it is a road-side order!! Consult and ensure proper planning first!

Someone should keep track of the number of orders this guy issues. Its a very noble though though to have all school going girls enjoying the use of pads

On cost implications, I think the menstrual cup could do well for the numbers affected. Hope mr flippy consulted.

considering that the government allocates approximately ksh 1200 per pupil per year which results into appromately ksh10 billion per year. the impact of giving sanitaty towels to girs approximatley 1million girls per month needs proper planning as the cost is quite high and how the project will be managed to benefit he intended persons. otherwise it will lead to another scandal. I think policy interventions to address the cost of sanotary towels and make them accessible is better than providing them for free

What got me even more worried is the decision by parliament to give 2k every month to our grandparos. Though a noble idea, the cost implication is phenomenal.

The more I observe this guy the more I see a reincarnation of President Moi.
Populist statements which are short term based and not sustainable. What happened to Diesel and Kerosene price reduction he ordered?
His campaigns are also like Moi's, Ikolomani he order for a road to be tarmacked just like Moi with electricity in Kipipiri.
Roadside declaration is another common trait. Intolerance another.

I think people here are not being serious. Hapa ni pang'ang'a tupu tu.

For your information:

Quote:
enough and targeted funding by government and donors to the girl child education.

is one of the prospects of Education For All way back in 1999 that Kenya made at the World Education Forum and presented by E. M. Kiugu the secretary general of Kenya National Commission for UNESCO.

That an old policy has been revived, nay, picked from the shelves and the bureaucrats reminded to dust and implement it at a meeting on gender affairs at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi can become a 'roadside declaration' 'intolerance' and so on is quite childish and not so grown up.

I think the original poster should take his own advice and consult then plan his posts first. It will set the trend for the other members to emulate.
