anyway.. is zuku reading this? potential market chipper!

You think Zuku care about this? If they dont even care about paid up customers, who are others here who may potentially not sign up after reading this.

Like I said, useless company, useless management, useless staff....corporate impunity at its height!

If there is a tree outside your house, stick to safaricom as these tech guys have never found a solution to the "kuna miti in your area" problem.

I second you on this. Zuku are useless if you leave in a valley or leafy neighbourhood but is safaricom really the best solution for kama kuna miti problem????
Advice people!!
What Internet provider do upper hill residents use other than safaricom and what are their experiences.

had an experience last month where i paid my monthly subscription around 8th but come 13th i got disconnected. After making several calls i was informed that they take payments on the 13th so i need to pay again....don't understand them. I threatened to quit but to where? I had just ditched safcom.

I have had it down only once, for a full two weeks - in that time, countless calls to customer service were a waste of time. @poundfoolish, I get my bills by email, they have never been late, infact they come a full two weeks before due date. My problem was with payments, had to pay only at their offices, a damn inconvenience. They have since told me that they have an mpesa business number - 320320, I intend to try it next month.

Going by comments here, i think ive been lucky, i've actually like their customer support when i had a querry (not a problem), the internet is fast the ping is great. online gaming even with the slowest package.
And yes I also get my invoice by email like 2 wks before due date. Also the option to pay with mpesa works. Im a satisfied customer.... for now

Apart from the monthly rates for the fibre, is there a monthly equipment fee charged?

For the fibre the equipment is theirs and you only pay the monthly access fees plus the one-off installation fees.

Installation - 3k.
Internet - 1Mbps - 999k, 4Mbps - 1999, 8Mbps - 3499.
TV - from 999 to 3499 based on the package.

You can opt for internet alone or tv alone at those prices. If you take both internet and tv then there are various discounts depending on the package combination.

So if say you take the 1Mbps internet only then you pay 3k installation and 999 for the first month then thereafter 999 per month. Etc.
