Recently, passed by Ngoroi area was amazed at the way the area is organized with proper signage or the streets. I am wondering if this is the initiative of the residents of this area. Is this the new Muthaiga of Rongai? What is the going price for 1/8,1/4 in the area? Are the plots easily available?

It is the Muthaiga of Rongai no doubt. The land all belonged to John Keen so it was naturally sold to rich old men who maintained standards.I took a friend there to buy an already finished new house with a compound . . .the old man was asking for 4.5M.That was mid last year.If really interested i suggest you spend a weekend around and do some visits with local agents who refer you to the owners.
Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

In jan an acre was in the range of 8-12mili.

FYI Nkoroi was not owned by John Keen but by the Sane family

The home owners in the Nkoroi Area did form a Residents association a while ago. Among others, they agreed on naming of the roads in the area. Also, they agreed on the zoning of the area. At the moment, the minimum plot size is 1/4 acre and the developments there on must be residential. No flats. Ringera, Omingo among others live in this neighbourhood.

Its quite a posh area and 1/8 acre plots adjacent to Nkoroi are going for 1.5M and above, off course near the main road.
