This is purely a non resident foreigner perspective.

My take is that Uganda previously a loyal, humble, reliable, dependable small brother to Kenya is becoming hostile to Kenya because of her new found oil wealth. This do happens even in typical African family setting.

If Uganda have any serious confrontation with Kenya (I pray not),the oil majors of China,Italy,Netherland, and even Russia will stand behind Uganda. There is a strong evidence that Uganda and Ghana are now beautiful bride to major oil exploration companies.

We all know US agenda (oil ??) in Iraq as it goes beyond dethroning Saddam .Hussein.

Only kenya, burundi and rwanda are enthusiastic about the east african community. The other countries have shown considerable hostility towards kenya's citizens and the east african community.

The EAC will never work as long as TZ and now UG do not trust kenya.

It doesn't really matter anyway, kenya is big enuf to develop on its own,we just need to get our priorities right

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

@ Obi,

It must have been one of the foreign ministers who aptly stated that the East African residents had gone ahead of the leaders in the formation of EAC on all fronts except on the political one.Socio-economically they are already there. So its clear who is letting us down. Fear not for necessity has a way of pushing obstacles out of the way.

Tanzanians have a phobia towards Kenyans.
But for Ugandans,I think it's 'Kenyans' who now dislike the UG leadership.
