One Kenya Shilling million is not so much these days. But that 1st million figure remains a psychological milestone, one that gives status and encourages a person to do more. Certainly, someone who has hit a net worth of 1 million will not stop there. Heh. So, those who have hit that first million, why don’t you share your story? Who knows, it can be a source of inspiration to those who are still on that journey. You can begin by considering the following questions:

1. Did you inherit your money?
2. Did you inherit properties?
3. Did you marry someone rich?
4. Did you start a business and became successful?
5. Did you do it by saving regularly?
6. Did you do it by investing aggressively?
7. Did you make your first million by working as a professional overseas?

What’s your story?

I find this query biased.... why not ask also how those who have not made that 1 million plan to make it.... that way probably, they can be guided/critisized positively to help them achieve that goal faster.

A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man

bought a plot at membley at 200,000 in 2005,I had taken a loan.
This was for speculation purposes but was buying coz my collegues were buying.I sold the same plot last year at 1.8m coz I wanted to inject capital into my business that a was doing on the side beside being employed.
Out of the business,I have bot another plot at Muigai inn and another in Kitengela through a wazuan investor.
So,to be brief,my business after the capital injection is worth something like 4 million.I have two plots and still employed and still getting return on a daily basis.I foresee quiting employement late this year.I am 30 years old.

Another question i keep asking myself..what makes a man a millionaire..having a million in a account debt free or having an income of 1 million..

Winning a million shouldn't make one a millionaire..

yap,I have made looses still but from the business and some counters I have been buying from 2007 when I got into this business of investing in equity.
The 2008 poll chaos had be loose half of what i had in NSE and foolishily,I decided to "stop loss" through selling some counters ie HFCK,NIC and KQ.Thats a loss that worries me alot.I better could have waited a little bit for normalcy to return,I could be very rich now.
