@MoKenya - you misunderstand me. My point is that citizenship is a lifetime commitment - like marriage. It's not like a job that you can hop from one employer to the next as you wish.

If you decide to be Kenyan, then be Kenyan and nothing else. If you want to be Greek, then be Greek and nothing else. However, that will not restrict to live only in your 'home' country.

As a citizen of a country you benefit from all its goodness but also suffer from from all its badness! If you chose to be Greek and the world decides ti kill all Greeks, you must be ready to die for your country.

Thus I wonder,if you are Greek and Kenyan which country would you die for and which would you live for?

To me,it's a matter of [good] life and death!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Kibaki supports this,..... so when will it be effected?

In the meantime Americans continue to peddling their 'papers' to Kenyans

http://www.eastandard.ne...id=1143995659&cid=4

'Need husband (sic) for US$12,000?'

American citizens receive US$2,000 (Sh150,000) to enter into fake marriages with Kenyans or other nationalities.

A Russian woman recently advertised online seeking 'Green Card marriage' and promising to pay $15,000 (Sh1million) with the caveat: 'Strictly platonic business offer,no sex.'

To everyone who wants or even advocates for this, you need to know that no person can serve two masters.

The fact that some other countries have dual citizenship does not mean it is the right thing to do.

Personally I feel that you need to choose where your loyalties lie,if you want to have a Kenyan passport then get one,but do not whine and gripe when you go to live overseas and you wnat to be a citizen of that country tooand Kenya does not accommodate your greed.

Whether you like it or not dual citizenship is inevitable.... it is already happening (read informally)...

There is this perception that when a Kenyan becomes a citizen of another country the individual loses his or her Kenyan citizenship. Naturalised (or even by birth) citizen of UK or US are not obligated to give up their citizenship. So they still hold both. This is because both countires embrace dual citizenship.

Read this article,it may be applicable to Kenya
