Of late there has been increased reports of murders, robberies, heinous crimes. Crimes of the election violence when people butchered one another like dogs. These are yet to be prosecuted, people stole maize and subjected our country to hunger these too are forgotten, people stole land many years ago yet these two became passing stories,There are people left out as Refugees in Uganda and all IDP camps accross the nation yet they are ignored. Slums blooming on small and big towns all accross the country,Of how Kirinyaga families are surviving after Mungiki,of where the tanks from the pirates went,or on what else was stolen during Moi's regime,of families that have started to mend ethnic ties, appeals to reccouperate money stashed abroad,of need for reforms and smaller cabinet.....
Why not just seek to write stories of a police officer who saved a child,of a robber who accepted Jesus,of corrupt officials who gave all they had stolen back and to the poor,of families feeding other families,of hope, trust and progress. Stories of Heroes among us.
Lets stick to the issues that affect our country. If policemen want to become heroes let them deal with the local crimes,do away with bribes and make our country a safe and liveable place
