Kenya Railways 260B vs TATU City 240B Projects. Which is more viable

Whenever i read the property projects in Kenya i salivate. But am worried that non might ever get in its foot. If they ever do where is it more safe to throw a few coins TATU/KR project?

for KR, it is very viable. transport industry is here to stay and road is not that reliable. i am waiting to see the key stakeholders before i give my comments.

I,l also put my money on KR depending on who they will get to partner with them in this venture...and so true with the way our roads are a good rail system is the only thing that can save us.

KR anyday. I bet alot of investors think so too. If Kr can do this right money will flow in. Private equity guys are scouting the globe for just this sort of thing.

None of the two purported projects is viable.Tatu City sounds like a Ponzi Scheme while Kenya Railways whose core business is rail transport have failed in that mandate how can they manage real estate of the proposed calibre. They cann't even get Muthurwa organized.

whats the difference btwn RVR n KR.the kenya railways plan looks very viable but i would sugest they look for a fella of Ciano's(uchumi) calibre.

@ Modoh, KR manages the railway line while RVR was consessioned to run Locomotives on Kenya Uganda railway. Nairobi Metropolitan interconnecting rail-line is also inder KR.

What KR is doing is to make use of a huge chunk of land it has in the city.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

KR definately, one the railway system is a public good, so comparing it with tatu is rather absurd.( comparison is only from an investors angle which i think you meant.) anyway we cant move to 2030 without the railroad.
