I think they must have trained for this so I don't think lack of sleep will wear them that much. Plus they are dead 'men' walking literary. They will endure anything but I think just as you that they are weaker now. This thing needs to end like now! What is their motive? Fame? Revenge? I still don't understand why anyone would endure such acts of mercilessness for such a long time. If they were high on something, its out of the system by now. Unless they had carried sufficient supply. are the soldiers working in shifts? if not, then they are equally tired. I don't have info from the ground but I certainly hope they are working in shifts.
