Smart money getting in? i said it sometime ago that 17.00 is a very important price .HUGE volumes have been exchanged at that price. the stock is just creating a floor and 20 bob is in sight.... I'll tell you without blinking an eye that in the banking sector, Equity is the 1st among equals. And yes, welcome to the season of goodies which will start in Dec through Feb. In these 3 months, smart money will have gone in and sneaked out of the market and into campaigns. As @Hisah, would say, watch the PPT's actions and ride the waves, wear the money goggles and make sure you're not left holding monkeys! @SufficientlyP

As Hisah has pointed out, i also noticed heavy volumes on saf, and it has kept it above 2.90. just notice how heavy demand has been coming in at those levels and propping it back to above three. equity the same, alot of mopping up at 17.00, then they relax wait, rinse and repeat...... @SPT, as good advice as any. In the recent past, smart money has been exiting Equity Bank en masse. This has depreciated the price to the current levels. Be very cautious when playing this counter bcoz there is a probability that the smart money is still in the selling side

Agri stocks... vipingo has been seeing volume... On October 28 2008 KCB closed @14.05... October 28 2011 = ... KCB looks set to test March 2009 low @12.60... @cde - did this titanic hit an invisible iceberg... @deal - look at the elliot wave from the high of 26 on June 8 2011 to date - check out the cliff-fall... AK - below 5. EABL - new 2011 lows @152... Total - the RSI indicator has been in oversold territory since Jan 2011?! Such selling extremes will see a sharp reversal on rebound. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

AK - below 5.

Total - the RSI indicator has been in oversold territory since Jan 2011?! Such selling extremes will see a sharp reversal on rebound. Agriculturals - I wouldn't buy. Everyone is buying, returns going fwd will be minimal esp if dollar falls. Eabl- still comsider it expensive in current market. I expect it to hit 115 in a very brief window. Kcb- so cheap, buy in bits. AK- risk takers will make money. Fwd PE around 8.3? Total - chevron was a poisoned chalice Life is short. Live passionately.

sparkly wrote:Agriculturals - I wouldn't buy. Everyone is buying, returns going fwd will be minimal esp if dollar falls. @sparkly last years earnings for tea companies were based on lower tea prices and a USD/Kshs of 85... In this current scenario I do not see the rate going anywhere near that level any time soon... and as for tea prices they will not stop rising for the forseeable future.. So profits for these babies are going to be insane.. The old perception of some of these agricultural companies should be withdrawn as I believe they have learnt from past mistakes.. eg now they are using dams, and. they got HUGE cash reserves.. I project a full year EPS of 120 on williamson tea and im still observing the others... Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16
