Almost seems like a standoff by each side to see what the other side will bring up then recalibrating their stronghold votes accordingly. And both candidates and their sidekicks sure of winning mbig mbig MBIG in the first round and predicting a sweep of close to 90% of outstanding votes. My prophecies of doom are unfolding kama vindeo. Hii Africa yetu jamaneni. Hang on tight!
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

IEBC may have oversold the 48hr window period. It hasn't expired though. The IEBC have dealt well with the challenges presented. Yes, technology has failed them today in transmitting results. Connectivity from what I understand. We didn't invest in that. Likely using this SCOM network.. It performed well yesterday. They have found an alternative solution within expected timelines.

The most effective action would be for the political parties to allow the IEBC do it's job at the basic level instead of being busy bodies and imputing ill motive. Beyond this they should be transparent enough to assure their supporters that all is well in regards to their votes because their experts are part of the teams addressing these technological challenges.

PK confirms figures from IEBC differ from what agents have on the ground, seems have to wait for physical hard copies.

Watu watapelekwa icu, you have not seen the tallying and why the variance has been minimal.

Results are basicallt out it can be delayed but will eventually have to be announced.......

I bet @makarege is right. IEBC was maybe hoping to get a clear winner to dilute effect of rejected votes. I believe all the provisional figures are already with iebc

They need to get those numbers out. Now! The anxiety of 40million Kenyans will soon blow up in IEBC's faces. Servers are down?! How? Why?
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

A delay of elections is not acceptable in this day and age. Any democracy that has come of age should deliver at least 80 % of results within 24 hours after polls closure. I thought this would have been kenyas show case of it's democracy to the world.
