Sonko was KANU damu man, he campaigned for Kanu in the 1997 elections. Sonko started off fighting monsters the 'kamjesh' that used to control matatu routes in Eastlands and he became the monster he was fighting. He was becoming a big monster with no owner. Wacha apambane na system.

What they are planning will not work. Uhuru might not need him but Ruto and Baba do hence the tussling, Baba went on to say that the police mishandled the arrest. Unless they kill him, this is an exercise in futility.

Saw that Sakaja wants to be Nairobi governer and also that people apparently don't like him. What did he do? I thought he was one of the good guys.

He will fall flat, his face and entire nose in the mud, what did he do? Absolutely nothing. People do not connect or like someone who does nothing but talk. One reason why Sonko connects with voters is that he acknowledges people, highlights their issues and tries to solve them. Sakaja should save all the money he can now, he's going to be a political beggar very soon.
