The county has more than 450,000 voters and almost half of them are not from the Kalenjin community. Some of the groups have been classified as swing communities. I have no idea what is happening in Eld but it doesn't sound nice. Considering they are both Jubilee, Uhuru and Ruto should intervene to calm the tension in the town. Its taking a very ugly tribal angle. True, Uhuru and Ruto need to intervene. It seems the people are speaking but these two are not reading the signs. My opinion is if swing communities insist in OPENLY alienating themselves, it may not be very good now or 2022. Uasin Gishu guys had chosen Mandago but WSR seems to be vouching for Bzki in the back scenes... Baba has endorsed mandago for governor. They are birds of a feather....primitive warmongers. Was shocked to see baba and his zangalewa troop chanting "nasa Buzeki". http://www.the-star.co.k...-eldoret-rally_c1604933[/quote] Jubilee is also supporting Mandago, seems like they have a common ground. But I do hope this Mandago chap loses in case he is behind this leaflets, I hate warmongering "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." James Collins

Catch you after the polls off for my August vacation. Hoping you are not part of the people who are leaving in droves to the West. Enjoy though! "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

Getting public transport from Nairobi to Western is a nightmare. Most shuttles and buses are fully booked.I also witnessed same heightened activities in Nakuru yesterday afternoon. Initially, i thought it was because this is the weekend after schools and colleges close. Clearly, it's not! Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Sure?? why would one travel with his/her household goods to vote? Mind you, i have seen what really looks like families traveling together. I hope i am not seeing my own things Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
