Am not an expert on security operations but i think if the govt conducted a ruthless operation in eastleigh
that would see all businesses close for atleast one week, we might see some results. My reasoning here is that
given a choice between closing down their businesses and betraying the thugs among them, most businessmen
will opt for the latter.
Then we turn the heat on all those who facilitated suspicious multi-million shillings property transactions a while back.
Followed by a forensic audit of all passports issued in the last 5 years. . . . . May be am too mad and cant think straight.

Any self respecting organisation starts on AAR(After Action Review)and assessment as soon as they are faced with a crisis and start working on measures to deal with the next one. Let me do a few IFs.
IF the police had their encripted communication network, then they would have asked SP to switch off their networks to prevent the terrorists from communicating. If you look at the picture closely you will see them holding mobile phones.
IF we had have a well co-ordinated crisis management organisational structure..am sure the situation would have been resolved more efficiently. Did you notice that armed civilians were busy getting people out while the police were still trying to organise themselves? that points to a lack of clear cut SOPs on matters crisis.
IF all Kenyans accepted we are our brothers keeper all the time and not only after a crisis happens, we wouldn't have ARMED foreigners organise themselves and take over a mall and NOONE saw anything.
