WOW WOOOOOOOO, EURAUD & EURCAD not looking good for LONGS, standing aside will probably consider shorts at those prices. EURUSD, GOLD & OIL not convincing for shorts as per the price levels and failure to break key levels. High probability, EURUSD, GBPUSD, OIL & GOLD will move higher as the week closes Discipline & sticking to your strategy even when you loosing defines great traders.

hisah wrote:Wow! Very nasty price reversal in NY session on gold and silver. Such action was last seen in Sept 22nd and Sept 23. Gold's weekly and monthly charts pointing to reversals by close of today - month end. Sidelined for now on the long side.
Long term short taken on NZDCAD - short @0.8310, lot size 0.5, TP - 0.8070. Will take some time to work out, but monthly and weekly confirm on reversal and bears momentum to catch up soon.
Yen crosses, have simply refused to play ball with correction as well as oil... NZDCAD short working out towards TP 0.8070 for position 1. Will review position 2 by end of week to determine next short target roughly pointing to 0.78 - 0.77 level if it closes below 0.8105 for the week.
Still waiting for gold to test $1650 and silver to test $31.50 before considering taking longs - I'm more bullish with the PMs (esp silver) now that Sparta has triggered a credit event.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

80 is coming up on USDKES... If I were in KE I'd be buying. I'll soon start pushing USDs back in KE waiting for at least a 10% weakening by July 2012 after the budget is passed. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

fxtech wrote:Will keep buying EURJPY, AUDJPY, GBPJPY & SHORT EURUSD, EURCAD, EURAUD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD The relentless yen selling doesn't make sense. At least SNB when intervening says something. USDJPY is on a solid rally and shorts here are getting smashed mercilessly. 85 is on the cards which reminds me of watching oil. Another rally is coming. Brent targets 138 after breaking 128. WTI breaking 108 aims 115. Anybody still thinking global inflation is a none issue is on cheap drugs and worse CBs are printing yens, euros & dollars even china lowered the reserve ratio.
I'm avoiding anything euro. Greece will pull out hidden debt skeletons soon. And with its election around the corner, caution. France as well & Sarkozy is most likely to lose. Eurocrats are facing tough fights at home vs socialist aka populist opposition as wananchi become restive due to the bad economic scenario in euroland.
Gold/silver still leaking lower - the discounts are welcome with all the inkjet CB money printing. The next upleg for gold should push past 1900. Silver looks ready to break 40 once accumulation is over. The silver rally will be a ripoff your face upleg.
Still holding on NZDCAD short. Waiting for CAD bull to step on the gas anytime this week.

Mark out this level in your charts for eur/usd 1.3030. Thats a strong support level. Only below this can we afford to be bear. “small step for man”

@Ceinz - EURUSD 1.3030 level broken down... Trade update - Position 1 on NZDCAD lot size 0.5 short @0.8310 TP @0.8070 hit for 1103 pips. Position 2 SL moved to 0.8240 and TP moved to 0.79 (subject to be moved lower). CAD bulls stepping on the gas as expected, except for USDCAD cross which is rejecting any attempts to run down 0.98 levels. Wow - gold breaks below $1650. Interesting... Silver almost sub $32 on the way to $31.50. Yen longs still experiencing a painful squeeze - for now GBPJPY (beast) and CADJPY are on rally steriods. Anyone had a look at the dollar index... Do you see the breakout potential?! How EURUSD is still above 1.30 is a miracle. Another miracle is how oil prices have stubbornly ignored the USD strength. $15/barrel oil... EURCHF Long makes alot of sense,I conquer with Hisah, smart traders would not worry too much about EUR but also look at what the Swiss gov is upto and note there is a floor for the pair at 1.20000. If and only if we break that floor can we talk of Bearish Discipline & sticking to your strategy even when you loosing defines great traders.
