Very few people support Gor Mahia because of their football, lets not pretend tribalism doesn't play a role with regards to their fan base.

Btw I've always been a Mathare United fan.

Hehehehehehe...............Gor beats Thika United 1-0, courtesy of yet another PENALTY. This is the second penalty awarded to Gor in as many games. Need I say more?

Run Ulinzi, Run with the TITLE!!

@mwenza a great coach Known as Murinho once said it doesn't matter how you win penalty or no penalty football is a game of points and Gor got them yesterday.

Let them get two more penalties in their two remaining matches but Ulinzi will still run away with the title.

Let no one expect Ulinzi to lose against a fellow disciplined forces' side, Red Berets. That, unfortunately, is the nature of amateur soccer.

Who has the link to the 31 OCT 2010 Standard newspaper article where Michael Joseph and the in-coming Bob Collymore are wearing the Gor Mahia t-shirt? Will safaricom sponsor this team?
The green colour and fanatical following of the team will surely work for safaricom.....zain will them choose a team to sponsor..

Safaricom are the sponsors of the Kenya Sevens tournament, that might be more than they can give at the moment. Just like AFC, Gor is a community based club.

Ulinzi need a win and a draw in any of the two remaining matches and gor mahia will extend their trophyless period to 16 yyears.

Your dislike on matters western/nyanza province are quite evident from your political posts...you forget that ulinzi is composed of the same people

Apple Bees & Nostoppingthis......All the KPL clubs have players from Nyanza and thats a fact. The reason why i don't support Gor is simply because they are not the best team in the KPL. I've been watching the league for quite sometime now and Tusker & Mathare Utd have always impressed me with their football. This season Gor have been able to get "Blackberry" who has really good dribbling skills but the rest are average players.

HYPE is the only word i can use in describing Gor Mahia....sometimes i compare them to Liverpool, they have the noisiest fans but when is the last time they won the League?
