ET already flies to Washington DC 6x/week but now daily & with larger plane... Pity we have the lousy JKIA coz imagine how many passengers KQ would fly to the USA/Canada!!! I am sure there are huge numbers of East Africans living in the DC area too. Plus it is relatively easy to drive/fly from NY/NJ/Boston area to DC (BWI/IAD) to catch a flight to Nairobi. Nevertheless, I have been crunching KQ's 1Q passenger numbers & they look much better than 2009. The PLF is up which means higher net revenues. The RPK also increased by 9% q-o-q. Of course, all this info will only show up 'financially' in Nov 2010 when they release 1H results. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - *to paraphrase Warren Buffett*
