ODM now wants defence CS Omamo fired for incompetence. They want her to be given "lighter duties", not leading war on alkebabs.

Quote:
"The Defence CS must, by appearance, scare al Shabaab. This docket requires someone who can scare them just by the physical look," said Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo

"She looks more like a nun than a Defense Cabinet Secretary. Omamo can do other lighter duties... she is not inspiring at all."

Wanjiku is now discussing war even when politics imemshinda.

But keeping silent is difficult for her and probably bad for those with political control.

Keep talking, shiko talker!

That Rarieda MP should be ashamed of himself.

Maybe the Mpig has a point. Even Ole Lenku was fired for not being "inspiring".

Even if we manage to beat them, they will just keep low waiting for us to exit. Then they return to 'normal' life. It's either we stay there forever or we develop an exit strategy.

One year after US fled Afghanistan the Taliban have recaptured more than one third of the country.

I know with Kenyan's pride we still have another 5 years or more in Somalia but the end result will be the same.

They are merchants and can't tolerate peasant like western existence. And this is in their DNA, same reason they forced Europeans to look for westerly and southerly routes to far east over 500yrs ago. I think idea of jubaland was good one we need to drive this home and squeeze these terrorists just around mogandishu

alshabaab pig that led the attack on KDF soldiers plus tens of the rag-tag militia killed in air raid. Go KDF Go!. Kill each and every one of those pigs including their sympathizers.

I only support Somali's and other citizens being free to choose who and what they want as their government!

In 2006, the Somali's made their choice but someone thought it was not good enough

@guru for once I concur with you. 2006 was an opportunity squandered for lasting peace and stability. Ethiopia at the behest of USA dislodged the credible ICU and left a vacuum that was filled by the elkabeb.
I don't actually understand why they targeted Kenya because we had ambivalent for so long until they ventured into our coastal resorts.

@Ngogoyo, know the difference between support and analysis. Being told how things seem to be heading is support? Nooo! If I warn you of danger, then it means I care about you and that's why I want you to avoid danger...

@guru has always asked important questions as what is our strategy, it has been 5 years, so what now.
