Why not do analysis based on hard facts e.g revenue collected by county per capita,% funds spent on devpt, on education, transition rates from primary to secondary? Anyone with PC can produce a 'survey' like the one in the papers today-in a couple of minutes. We expect alot of crap in lead up to 2017

Please note the above World Bank Study that put Machakos No.1 in "development spending" may be because the World Bank has invested heavily in Machakos (I have heard this a lot ati wamenunua ploti kubwa hapo). I wonder if they are the financiers of this info track study, most likely anyway, there is an issue with an attempt to paint Machakos favorably by world bank for investment purposes, which may result in slightly skewed questions set to paint a favorable picture. However if the investors come, well and good, just hope they won't be disappointed, when you think of these banks also remember IMF and the racist sex scandals.

@ Much know,
1. World Bank is not into the business of investing in plots, again, and assuming that is the case- would they rate a place number 1 because of the plot?
2. The detail of World Bank-funded projects in Kenyan counties are actually available in their website
http://documents.worldba...rojects-kenyan-counties, now where does your analysis of this paint a picture of heavy investment? That’s why am thinking it’s hard to conceal your bias.

I said "maybe". There is a political quality to investment which one "may" string together without links. The Trend with these polls "by coincidence" consistently have results that put Mutua No.1. Where has poverty reduced most for example? If it's still Makau, then am sure the political landscape will change. Maybe it's a coincidence, but to convince some isn't easy! Overstanding the aforesaid, however note your link is not working. There are people who say opinion polls should be "controlled", it's a kind of currency if you think about, i am a "knowledge trader" in this case, is it of any value?, remember "fake" opinion polls caused people to fight in 2007.

@much know, the 'survey' was simply setting a stage for future surveys, progressively in lead up to 2017. By 2017, only governors from one coalition will be appearing in top 10. I could do do a better job on my PC

You are really pained by the fact that Mutua is a good governor. So much that you think the WB is just selling the guy. Mutua is not perfect but measured against some of the fellows we have (is your gavana Ka-buffalo?) he is miles ahead.

Mutua might be/might no be the best governor in Kenya since the opinion only measured public PERCEPTION and Mutua being a spinmaster, he knows how to publicize the small things even when opening a toilet, launching ambulance services, buying garbage trucks yet other governors are doing the same things without publicity.Hence its only logical that the public will perceive Mutua to be the best performing governor because of publicity
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?
