@Mukiri,does your church advise couples in such crazy relationships to separate or divorce?
or should they hold and pray till 'DEATH separates them? as the vows say?

Murang'a men who used to drink a lot, had the bottom of their trousers tied at the ankles with string before they entered a pub (bar). In case they drunk too much and downloaded (watery semi-solid) on themselves, they could carry the downloads with them away from the pub to their wives (very angry women!). This would make the men resort to drink moderately. It was actually the Murang'a barmaids who devised this method because they were tired of washing the downloads off the pub floors.

oh yuck! is this a common thing among drunkards? or it caused by the local cheap brews? if so,then nbo pubs must be full of shit.

This is really sad! Sad

Problem is, now that this has been highlighted, they will come up with better and cleverer ways of dispatching their husbands to heaven.

This institution called marriage is under siege! Sad

I fear for our sons!!

This trend is being passed from generation to generation from the look of things.
If a daughter grows up in an environment where money and property tops the agenda in family gatherings and nothing about values and personal development is emphasised, then money becomes the centre around which everything else including precious life revolves.
If she is used to being given, instead of learning to fend for herself, then such a lady will never learn to stand up on her feet when things hit rock bottom. This is why there are claims of 'man not taking care of me,feeding our kids ,paying fees' etc etc.And as a result revenge becomes an option when the man goes mia.Her life comes to a stop cz she can't think out of the box-never has.

If the man neglects his family let God deal with him cz He will, but taking matters into one's hands is hindering one's blessings and those of the kids..
Whatever the case,It's not even a Kiambu problem. The heart of a human being is desperately wicked, only the fear of God can save one from becoming the devil's workshop.

It's sad to see adults who claim to be mature but cannot even take care of themselves, instead looking for spouses who can take care of them. As a man, I often ask some of these young gals, where do they expect to get a man who's as young as them and as rich as their dad? A man who's earned his money/riches honestly?
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

such men end up facing the same fate by women from their backyard. Like this guy back in college always sayoing how they were allways warned about akafete who would run away with property and kids after disagreement. Well he met this girl from near home in nyeri who 'trapped' him and he had to marry her. 1 yr later, the marriage was on the rocks and the gal went with kid n swept the house clean. Mpaka bedsheets hakuacha. O ye stereotypers, take heed
. It is not the place, it's the person. BTW, who confirmed Faith Wairimu is a Kafetian?

I have never understood this part. How does a man get trapped and why would a man allow himself to be trapped? Is he a rat rat?smile
I agree that some women are very cunning and desperate and will devise ways of hooking a man.
But it's only guys who think with their 3rd legs who get 'trapped' by the cheese.

See,Marriage is not by force and pregnancy alone is not ticket to marriage.
Look here, any fertile woman can get pregnant but not every fertile woman can make a wife.
Same to the man.Any fertile man can shoot arrows but not all sharp shooters can make husbands.
So why risk marrying just cz you made one pregnant and why did you even make her pregnant if you weren't ready for marriage?
Getting pregnant/Impregnanting another alone outside of marriage is irresponsible enough so don't raise the bar too high after marriage lest you get killed.Sad

So this trapping biz is an excuse for irresponsible sexual behaviour which dulls the mind and powers the 3rd leg, causing it to go roaming.
