If CORD win the court case, they will lose the runoff by a much bigger margin because:

-800,000 votes is a massive chasm perhaps equal to the number of people who voted in the whole of Coast Province.
-Country is fatigued with elections. Dragging this on will repel some swing, goodwill and sympathy votes they received.
-Jubilee supporters are still the more fired up. In absence of Sen/Gov/MP elections, turnout disparity will be huge.

CORD mandarins perhaps already know this. Not clear what the end objective is here unless they are hoping the re-run will coincide with the start of trials at the ICC.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

Salim Lone has told BBC and Reuters that should IEBC declare Uhuru the winner, Monday ni kortini

Quote:
Kenyatta's main rival, Prime Minister Raila Odinga, trailed with 43.28 percent of the vote. A close adviser to Odinga said he would not concede the election and would launch a legal challenge if Kenyatta was officially declared the victor.

"He is not conceding the election. If Uhuru Kenyatta is announced president-elect then he will move to the courts immediately," Salim Lone told Reuters, speaking on behalf of the prime minister.

Odinga's camp had said during tallying that the ballot count was deeply flawed and had called for it to be halted.

I do not blame CORD, they have to try all legal avenues!

If we go to the runoff, Jubilee will have the psychological advantage due to the clear round 1 win

They also have bigger numbers in parliament and this is another psychological advantage point

I had not foreseen this...I always thought Jubilee would win round 1 with about 47-48% then lose the re-run

but I dont think that claim has traction .... if it had, the last 5 tallies would not have been released.
Relax one and all. Its finished, our currency as voters is now precisely zero. Prepare to get shafted, like always, till 2017, when we become favourites again for mere fleeting moments and once again delude ourselves votes have meaning Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
